Microsuction removes ear wax under direct magnified vision using gentle, low-pressure suction. No water is flushed into the ear, making it a precise and comfortable method that is suitable for most people — including many for whom irrigation isn't appropriate.

Chobham Pharmacy is your local, GPhC-registered community pharmacy on Chertsey Road. We provide ear microsuction and ear-health advice from the same welcoming pharmacy you already know.
Every appointment starts with an otoscopic examination of both ears. Wax is only removed where it is safe and clinically appropriate — and if there's nothing to remove, we'll tell you honestly and advise you on what to do next.

Service & prices
Ear microsuction appointments
Every appointment includes an otoscopic examination of both ears. If there's no wax to remove, only the consultation fee applies — you'll always know the cost before we begin.
Check up/examination is £15. If wax removal is needed, an additional £45 is added (total £60), whether treatment concerns one ear or both ears. Wax is only removed where it is safe and clinically appropriate.

Choose a time that suits you. Where possible, use olive oil drops for 3–5 days beforehand — softened wax is quicker and more comfortable to remove.
